One might come to realise how big rugby actually is.  In 2007 the rugby games were held in France and an estimated 2 million people watched the championship games live and around 4.2 billion [watched,viewed,witnessed] on their television screens, even garnering viewers from China, Russia and even the USA, proving just how [big,large,huge] rugby games have become even in the global arena.

Now, 2011 will mark another year for rugby games, this time New Zealand and the All Blacks will be hosting it and if the [previous,prior,preceding] games are any indication, the coming games will be one heck of a blow-out!

With the 2011 Rugby world cup [just around the corner,fast approaching] there is a great interest as to who will be [joining,playing in,competing in] the Rugby games this coming season.  IRB or the International Rugby Board has announced the inclusion of New Zealand, Scotland, Argentina, Fiji, France, Ireland, Italy, Australia, South Africa, Tonga, England and Wales in the roster. With a 20-team feature, there are still 8 more qualifying berths to be had.

And [sure enough,of course,surely] there will be more twists and turns between now and the start of the rugby games in 2011, plenty of time for the teams to have built a good arsenal and all is geared up for an all out war in the 2011 World Cup.

Preparing For the 2011 Rugby Games

New Zealand is actually making [good,great,very good] progress in preparing for the coming Rugby World Cup and the IRB’s chief executive has rated the country’s preparation as A+ and the country’s premier team All Blacks are indeed happy.  And it is indeed a great honor, the rugby games will be the [biggest,largest] sports event that the country has ever hosted and it's believed to rake in around 280 Million in ticket sales alone. And tourism expects an [influx,entry,arrival] of around 70,000 tourists for the 2011 Rugby World cup.
